Well, I opened it up, and they used the usual mixed season vectors. The characters they used were interesting choices, aside from the princesses, Mane 6, Spike, and Shining Armor. They used Lyra, BonBon, Mr. and Mrs. Cake, Pegasus Guard Pony #2 (number is irrelevant here), Gilda, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, Granny Smith, Big Macintosh, Cheerilee, and some obscure blue unicorn with a purple cape and hat. She kept on referring to herself in third person for some reason. Nah, I'm kidding with you. Trixie is in there. In all, there are 24 different cards with one character on each.
They didn't seem to have any reason to have three different backgrounds behind them, and the way that they distributed them was weird, as well. There's a flower background, a purple magic glow background, and a rainbow background.
Twilight, Trixie, Gilda, Mr. Cake, Mrs. Cake, Cheerilee, Princess Celestia, and Princess Cadance got the purple background,
Fluttershy, Applejack, Shining Armor, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, Rarity, Princess Luna, and Rainbow Dash got the flower background, which means that Big Macintosh, Sweetie Belle, Guard Pony, Granny Smith, Lyra, BonBon, Pinkie Pie, and Spike got the rainbow background.
Applejack doesn't have her hat in her picture (and in other headlines, the sky is blue, birds sing, and Twilight has a mental breakdown every Tuesday), and of the ponies who have cutie marks, you can't see them on Twilight (dress), Cadance (dress), Guard Pony (armor), Trixie (cape), or Fluttershy (mane/odd angle).
Shining Armor is in his uniform from the wedding, Twilight is in her coronation dress, and Luna decided to go with her Season 1 look.
Also, for some reason they added sparkles to Twilight, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, Shining Armor, Princess Cadance, Princess Luna, Princess Celestia, and Spike.
There is no tray to keep the cards neat, so good luck with that. Also, they're on four sheets of 12 cards, and you have to punch them out in order to use them.
Lyra and BonBon's poses suggest shipping, as do Mr. and Mrs. Cake, along with Shining Armor and Princess Cadance.
No lower lashes on Rarity, and Pinkie's right front hoof looks weird in proportion to her left front hoof, which is in front of her right front hoof.
