Spinning a Yarn 2

He had just met Pinkie Pie, and she had run off, leaving him confused. Suddenly three fillies carrying balloons jumped in one of his carts of yarn, saying "Cutie Mark Crusader balloonists!" There was one unicorn filly with a white coat and a curly pink and purple mane, there was a pegasus filly with an orange coat and magenta mane, and there was a yellow earth pony filly with a red mane and a bow in her mane. Suddenly the balloons started flying away. "Oh no! Now we can't go flying!" the unicorn filly said. Yarn Purl grabbed the balloons, surrounding them with his green magic aura, and tied some yarn to the ends of the ribbons, then gave them back to the fillies. "There you go, they shouldn't fly away again," he said, smiling. "And your names are...?"

"I'm Sweetie Belle, and these are my friends, Scootaloo and Applebloom" the unicorn filly said, indicating the pegasus and earth pony, respectively. "Hey, do you think you could lend some of your yarn to my sister, Rarity? She has some scarves to make for a big order that's due tomorrow, and she ran out of yarn."

"Lend her my yarn?" The unicorn laughed. "I'll do better than that. I can make the scarves for her. My special talent is knitting, so I can get them done pretty quickly."

"YAY!" All three fillies were excited by this. "Cutie Mark Crusader employee finders!" They all looked at their flanks, expecting to see something. "Aww, not again..."

Yarn Purl laughed. "So can you tell me where this Rarity works?" "Sure!" came the reply. "Follow us!"
